so much is going on GRAH - Rand & his Salidar embassy is the least interesting thing. Mat & Egwene, the game between them I LOVE IT. this is what people mean of this being a tale of men and women despising each other when all can be solved by them working together. however i loved the moment Mat knelt and kissed Egwene’s ring to call everyone else into respect for his friend from the Two Rivers, oh my heart💖

EGWENE YOU ARE KILLING ME. SUCH AN INSANE RUN OF CHAPTERS. The reunion, Egwene and Moggy, Egwene and Siuan, and all the Daes Daimar afterwards SO ENCHANTING. THE BATTLE BEGINS.

so much i need to say;

1. this is surely egwene’s book
2. i had this opinion before THAT chapter : “egwene, all of your chapters go by soooo quickly. If i’m not going to surrender before fighting, I might as well go on to the battle.”
3. sorilea’s words to egwene before she leaves are so heartwarming : We are always more afraid than we wish to be but we can always be braver than we expect.

ugh it should be a crime to be this much of a pageturner. i would rather read this than pay attention to the mountains on my vacation. hell yeah nynaeve i knew you had it in you :’) egwene and gawyn ummm cute moments but such a lame confession? egwene moments i live for, rand and LTT friendship i live for. Mat chapters i LIVE LIVE LIVE FORRRR

i need to finish this book in 3 days. but around this mark is when it’s starting to click. when the humanity of Rand al Thor & the Ogier comes to light.
“Rand stared north and west, not toward Emond’s Field, but toward the farm where he had grown up. When he turned away and opened a gateway to Caemlyn, it was like tearing his own arm off. The pain was a much suitable memorial for Liah than a scratch.”

i hope this marks the end of my slump. i wish life admin had to stop so i could just keep reading sigh
