I started reading this one a few years ago, but dnf-ed it because it has this dreamlike quality that reminds me of Paulo Coelho's writing style. It felt too abstract and predestined, though somehow I always gravitate to stories like this. Note to self: reread Lets Kill the Sun?

I'm enjoying it a lot more on the second try. I pushed through the parts that made me give up last time. Very queer lots of gender fuckery
