So many panels in this series are just such fabulous watercolor painting, like the full-page spread for when Chapter Four starts. I love it so much--the colors!

That was great--yeahhh! Like a big Star Wars moment. The art in this is still so stellar in more ways than the one, with this being a space comic.

Even though this series is pricy, I love having my "own" copies so I can flip through and look at the watercolor art whenever I want. I'm one of those people who when I really like something, I want to have my own copy of it. But I grew up without having two pennies to rub together, so I tend to be cheap lol, and I always prefer buying things at a discount if I can. I love signing up to Rewards kinds of things where I can build up points; for example, I get a lot of discounts at Michaels because of that. But I also try to do that with books.
I always meant to get print versions of this Descender series too, but then I couldn't afford to do that anymore--well, maybe I can. But, my husband's retiring this year, and nowadays I have to think about the future more, because it's shrinking for us faster.
Probably everyone who lives long enough realizes that at some point, you're highly likely to have more days behind you than ahead of you. You have to think even harder before you take new actions, including spending money.
