is it just me or did the author just kinda admit to low-key stalking this woman for a year? like going around town and talking to other family and neighbors while constantly leaving voicemails to a woman who's already had to deal with reporters for years and has not made any attempt to contact you? seems at the very least pretty inconsiderate considering how the family clearly dont like speaking with reporters

not only reading details about your loved one's autopsy in a book but also her medical record that had been released to a reporter without the family's knowledge or consent only adds to the violations this poor family went through with this whole scandal

there's been a lot of ethical issues with the researchers in this book (of course), but i think the doctor who purposefully injected multiple patients with cancer without their knowledge takes the cake

im gonna have to reread "next" after this i think
