god this really is some of the best writing ive ever read. the prose alone is so beautiful and pliable? something about the way it shapes the story is just so singular. and the way in such a short amount of pages toni morrison creates a world so lived-in and full and characters so complex and human.. yeah i need to read everything she ever wrote
