Oof I thought this was going to be a light, fluffy read. It’s a dark dystopian with heavy political commentary and chapter one seemingly lasts forever. I’m going to have to alternate this one with something else. Really expected it to be different

Did you read my review? This book is not at ALL what I was anticipating and I actually DNFd despite being an enormous fan of TTW

I will look at it right now! I was trying to keep a lookout for it
Zach is an important character which is why he has a POV. My understanding from other reviews is that there's several POV characters and at times it totally veers away from Alba entirely. I also read spoilers of the ending and I am not going to finish it. My soft DNF became a full blown DNF. The publisher actually sent me a physical ARC and I felt weird even putting it next to the first book. I canceled my preorder for it

I did. I wanted it SO BAD like I pulled all my resources and begged for it multiple times. Then when it showed up I was already DNFing my digital copy from NetGalley so it was really bittersweet
