I have a really bad feeling about this fight.

Hello, Mr. Black. Dressed all in black. With back hair and black eyes. And black gloves, like a serial killer. I'm intrigued by Mr. Black.

This is all over the place. Hugh is, well, about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. Protesting but not doing anything about any of it. Including not actively searching for Shiloh. As for trying to make Domingo sympathetic? Don't! Just don't even try.

I don't care about Hugh anymore. He's been usurped by a kitten.

The tone has slipped a bit. I have no problem with femme characters or with men expressing more feminine characteristics. For me dynamic between Hugh and Domingo has become somewhat incongruous. I wonder if this was written as a m/f scene at some point (?) it certainly has that feel.

Domingo is "bat shit" cray-cray.

"I'm new." Hugh sat back (...) "You know how it goes. I haven't had my hopes snuffed out yet. My individuality crushed. My empathy reduced to fear in a handful of dust. Something like that."
