What I get so far is:
1) Life changing decisions are subject to tough and thoroughl evaluation. Unless they sound fun, then you change states and jobs in a whim.
2) Your best friend pushes you to make the most illogical life choice exactly when you have the strongest arguments against it.
3) that first kiss is a huge thing.

I chose this book for my first romance novel. Ever.
Not gonna lie, it's weird.
My takeaways so far are:
- the guy MUST be desired and popular, even through a reddit post
- the guy must be funny
- girls are allowed to do a whole background check on a person and it is considered normal. Reciprocal behavior is creepy
- there must be some sort of personal AND external disaster happening to the the guy
