Hmmm I like both equally I think! I’m only halfway done with Fallen Merman too. These books are soooo long I need to take breaks (but Fallen Merman is longer). Also in a way these two novels are super similar, in Fallen Merman the superpowers are bound to the glands, here the superpowers are bound to the cores. And the whole concept of aberrants and their need to undergo metamorphosis is so interesting. This author has some insanely weird but cool ideas
Ahhh okay! I love The Fallen Merman so much I keep thinking I want to try another novel by this author. Maybe the FTL will be completed by the time I get around to it. Your updates have me intrigued!
It’s great! There’s also a sequel which I’m excited about as well :D I did try the FTL but didn’t like the prose and there were so many mistakes that didn’t make sense in the English text (continuity errors etc) so I’m just MTLing this :D hopefully some publisher will pick this up one day…
