I fell into a reading slump, as well as just life lifing but I am now back to consistently reading my book. The past couple of chapters have been emotionally heavy and imagery intensive. I can imagine most, if not all of the scenes in my head, and become quite immersed in the story. The description of tragedies the enslaved people go through usually causes a visceral reaction in me, this book does well its realism.

I’ve never heard of a storyline as interesting and multidimensional, literally, as this one I can’t wait to see what happens next
