it’s flying by now but it’s not exactly what i expected or wanted icl

it’s still good but not 5 star good and i hate feeling guilty whenever i read bc of uni

maybe ill give it 4 or 4.5 stars

im in the middle of it loving it so far

i rly hate that feeling when im already anticipating my next book so im not fully immersing in the current one ugh dammit let me just enjoy clytemnestra i wanted to read it for so long shes my fav character ever

im taking way longer to finish it than i expected there’s just such a lack of time

but its so good and its getting even better and i just wanna know everything that happens ughhhh
bc im past the world building foundational aesthetic phase now i wanna know abt the plottt

it’s getting juicyyy i could read this for hours on end but i don’t have that many hours to spend all bc of my own procrastination🙄 it’s ok ill gain them back then read as much as i want

the best part about reading a book like this is getting used to the world and this world is so immersive like spartan culture and the characters are so cool

it’s nothing like i expected but it’s soo good

it’s like circe i can only read portions at a time bc the format is pretty much identical but i love it bc i loved circe too

idk if it’s even possible w doing my uni work aswell but i want to reach half way today lol

i think i could bc it’s very binegable unlike the odyssey

5 stars incoming im already obsessed

the phase of like setting the stage for the story getting used to the authors voice and the setting and the vibes omg i loveee soaking up new books and losing myself in stories

i can tell it’s gonna be so good
