Low-key Ive given it some thought and I might dnf. BUT I RLLY DONT want to. UGHHH WHY IS THIS SO HARD I should’ve stuck with the current series I’m on..JAMMITT!!!(iykyk) anyway yeah..I’m not very intrigued in this book and it’s my fault for reading an AMAZING dragon series before this (The Inheritance Cycle) Where the dragons are on the good side instead of the “bad” which I’m convinced they’re not.

we’re going to continue unfortunately only because I rlly like the cover and I hope the story gets better…literally that is my only motivation plus I feel like I need a breather in between the dungeon crawler Carl series..cuz bro I be going through Roran chapters again…

Alright so I’m not liking the romance so far and the characters are interesting, not sure what to think yet. The Ethershade/Etherlight thing, the sigil and scourge stuff idk know how to pronounce these freaking names but the ENTIRE magic system was NEVER explained. I need A DEEP DIVE INTO IT. ITS SO COMPLICATED. The romance IS NOT eating. I rlly want to like this book but I don’t think it’s gonna happen.

This is interesting. I’m not absolutely loving it but I’m not hating it definitely more romantasy than I thought. But I’m not entirely hating it you know? So far I like our fmc, not sure about her friend tho. HATE the father, I like the stepmom, and love the stepbro. I lit love her birth mom. However I do hope we get more history on the dragons and the Elthalight or something like that idk it’s a weird name.
