That’s actually the cutest thing in the world I love slade’s mother. Shes so motherly awe and giving approval of Auren melts my heart. And I think Slade can read minds a little or hear thoughts and he communicates with his mother that way. I think maybe she can too or he gets this side from her.

Slades backstory from creating the rip to becoming a soldier, army commander, and king, to the best at both is so crazy. And I’m sad Ryatt can’t be who he is. Love the captains too tho.
