I find that a problem across nearly all romance books. As soon as they get together (or start boinking) it loses tension

Same here. Unless it has other plot lines besides just romance to keep me hooked.

That's why I don't usually like book series about the same couple. There's a few great ones, but generally I'm too bored to continue when they're already together

It's too anticlimactic after all that delicious longing 😭
