This isn't as good as contract bound for me but I had really good bones and I'm hoping it can follow through with the end and the other books. I still love this and it hits incredibly hard in parts but it's missing something and idk what that something is rn

Honestly I have to give this book its kudos. I was feeling a bit weird about the whole romance between a dud who contributes to the system versus a woman who was harmed by it (kinda still am but I digress( but so far I think it has been handled well in presenting a world and a villain that humanizes the MMC without excusing or babying him.
