I've never read a book that's both this long while being so compulsively readable. It never drags. Tartt keeps the pace tight and electric. Even in quiet characterful moments, things are always moving. Amazing stuff.

Very intriguing so far. An interesting cast of characters. I already sense the story building to something pretty big, and I love Donna Tartt's writing. Can't wait to keep reading.
