The book has two basic parts: (1) An account of Frankl's own experience in Nazi concentration camps, and his observations of fellow prisoners' struggles to survive prison atrocities; and (2) An explanation of Frankl's "logotherapy", a therapeutic process to find meaning in life amidst human suffering.
