I knew it I have the highlights to prove it. I said it was weird being knowhere to be found and his shadow looming and such! Also I knew ilias would die at 27% which is nice
I wonder what’s up with Sigrun she was really disturbed after he died but in a weird way what’s up with that

Jonas is a bitch for taking my girl away and turning her in like wtf
Rey has come for her so it’ll be ok I hope but what the hell
I had a bad feeling about Jonas from the start because he only wanted to bed her and he was blond. Also he said he only liked her because he told her stuff because she lost lands too… what a stupid reason to think u love someone

I had a feeling he would for a while, still it saddens me. Jonas is annoying but his brother died so she had to be nice to him now which is unfortunate. Can’t wait till she and Rey get stuck in an inn with only 1 bed or something

I feel like it’s mostly nature descriptions and so when we get actual information its obvious there’s something behind it like mentioning Sigrun goes on long excursions in the woods is really obviously fishy… and even more now it’s the second time mentioned

Let’s address the love triangle
Jonas is fun and cute but the whole “mine” ordeal and the possessiveness I think won’t do long term. Had some cringe moments like ignoring her and then chasing after her, it’s all very boyish
Ret however wanted to kill her and keeps fighting wanting to be rid of her which isn’t great too. Seems he can help but -help- her when Jonas can’t help but fuck her so..

Yeah I like silla she just apologized to a rock for tripping on it

I like silly she’s not annoying for a fmc
I like Ilias and hekla
I like skated a even though she’s a bitch
I also even like Rey an Jonas even though they’re broody snoozes

Interesting to see who’s her dad seems that Rey knows him and might’ve figured why she has a price on her head

Important notes-
- there’s a serial killer named slatrari that burns his victims from the inside
- there’s problems in mines of berskium I’m not sure what that is
- disappearances up north of livestock and farmers leaving blood and claw marks and thick white mist

Another thing about this book so far which is not a lot is that it’s extremely descriptive in a really beautiful way but it’s really hard for me to get through like I get lost in the description and stop imagining anything because I’m too focused on getting through the paragraph
