After a morning swim and an attempt at our hero being killed by the bullit variety Simon takes a stroll to meet the locals in Baycombe. There he meets the loveliest girl ever who he intends to rescue a few times during his upcoming adventure, enter Patricia Holm.

Simon gets detained by a villain then leads his cronies in a merrie chase around a garden while sending Patricia Holm on her merry way .
This book nearing its centenary still does not fail to entertain me. I have a copy from 1928 in my humble collection, this being a recent copy of 185 pages.
