Some have compared her to Brian Doyle, who in my opinion was one of the most creative/lyrical authors in publishing. I notice several of her titles take place in Faha which is foreign territory in my world. Have you read her others and if so, which did you enjoy most?

Hi Jonathan: Doyle's writing is very different, imho from Williams' (who is a man, btw). :-) Williams has a very lyrical, Irish way of storytelling, meandering at times but generally soft. Doyle is also soft, but writes more of natural history, environmental interconnectedness. At least that's what I'm getting from Martin Marten. I've read This Is Happiness by Williams and hope to find more of his books in the library. Faha is a small town, like most small towns, where everyone knows each others' history and lives. btw, I live in one like that.
I'd probably start with This Is Happiness, if you're looking for one of his books.
