I personally lack the intelligence to decipher the different metaphors in this book, so I'm not fully enjoying the book. However, the more I read, the more I'm comprehensing Chambers motifs, and it's become more enjoyable. Especially The Yellow Sign, which is an excellent retelling of Adam and Eve. Perhaps after I finish it I will re-read it to see the details, since the first story is really a ruse.
