the premise was why i wanted to read to begin with. actual execution though, eh. no. i was so bored throughout most of it. it didn’t really pick up or feel like it had any momentum until the last third of the book. and i don’t buy that this wouldn’t work perfectly well told chronologically. had a lot of potential to be a great book. or potential to be the kind of book *i* like… yknow. but it wasn’t.

ok finally i care a bit about what’s happening. god. i don’t see why this book can’t be told chronologically.

i want to drop but this rating isn’t so low…. does this get better?

ok so is the killing of the prostitute serial killer thing going to come back and bite harry in the ass?

OMG i don’t care about harry and i don’t care about any character!! holy cow

i’m sorry that so far i’ve only become more interested at the part about how they tortured an immortal-ish troublemaker

i like fantasy and speculative fiction etc etc but i am afraid i need the plot and concept to either be REALLY REALLY interesting or the focal characters to be very endearing or entertaining AAAARGH

author has irritating pompous assholes down pat

also i feel like this plot point of bizarrely accented american spy guy is ridiculous because why does he think time loop british guy is omniscient
