Did not see that coming!

Is it plausible? No idea. I am truly too dumb to figure out mysteries, so I cannot say for sure if this is a good one.

The fucking was hella unprofessional. I will give him that. Even I got annoyed when it was happening. Seriously on the job and no prep?! Nicolas must have some beer nipples.

Ugh I always get annoyed with characters who get mad that someone is not telling them everything. Yes, I’m undercover! It is a secret and in this, a secret to protect your arse🙄

Trying to read this on the train while rolling my eyes is impossible. Every time I try to get past the stupid, yet highly emotional, moment of kissing I just get irritated and switch to something else.

Funny to discover that I actually can have certain scenes that put me into a reading slump. Normally it is not that noticeable.

It is written very well but it is still eye roll worthy when characters will kiss in a high pressure situation.

Focus on the people who want to do you harm!

Afterwards you can get mad at the dumbass

... Do you not want to celebrate Christmas with your brother? Why is he not even an afterthought? So strange.

Oh and maybe also mention the starting point? England started their conquest with their neighbours and did a pretty good job of destroying every bit of those cultures...

Oookay? That part was really not targeted at me but at the ordinary sjmoe who do not really know just how invasive England was in their imperialism.

I do wish it was more specific about the cultures they were talking about. Which culture had three genders for example?
