Ok, got to the part with the (don’t know any other way to describe it…) “obsession” with the gluten free pie crust… um. What?! It’s really boring and MAJORLY distracts from the plot. I can see where other readers are massively turned off by this, esp when, you know, THERE’S A MURDERER on the loose in the small town, etc idk it’s the last book and I might just jump to the end and DNF. Sad.
