The development of the MCs' relationship feels clunky. The pacing of it feels off and the way the two MCs describe their feelings doesn't feel consistent with their characters. Not sure what to point my finger on. It just feels off and not entirely believable. Like a mediocre film rom com.

The progression of the MCs relationship is clunky and not very believable. They go from hesitant and doubt for more than half the book and in a span of one chapter, they suddenly, at around the same time, both feel they are brave enough to take the leap. I feel like I'm being told of their connection, not shown.
