This is a nice, easy to read cozy mystery. I needed one after the last couple of books I have read. So far, Carmela and Ava witnessed the death of Marsh Lash, a nasty restaurant critic and obnoxious environmentalist. They didn't see who stuck the meat fork in his neck, but he died right at their feet at the Winter Fest. Quigg Brevard is the police detective's #1 suspect, but Carmela knows he couldn't do it.
