This book is incredibly dull so far. Nothing is happening. This is a lot of setup for something that I don’t yet care about. She mentions her old town a lot, and how awful her parents were to her, and how her brother is the golden boy who ran away and then came back and then left again without explanation and I guess theres allusions to the house being haunted and some spirit in the woods but wow is it dull.
