“Doesn't everyone like music?" It was part of being human, after all. Music could evoke joy, sadness, wonder... Some people she'd met said they were "ambivalent" about music, which she thought was ridiculous. What would life be, without it? Didn't they realize that whenever they watched a film, it was the music in the background doing half of the work to make them feel what they felt?
