im not going to bother rereading my notes of this book either 🤷🏻‍♀️

though i feel like i mightve said something like wanting to rewrite this book

i feel like i need to spend some time touching grass and sitting in a library rn or something

that this was the better one

if id read that stupid yoga book before this
i never wouldve gave this book a chance

this author needs a jab to the face and a kick to the genitals.

i initially rated this three stars
which im changing to two now

this was def the better book from this author
but yeah
the writing is fucking trash

so clearly ai slop the majority of the time

i feel stupider having read this and rereading this

anyone who uses ai to write their stories is shit.

which is crazy bc i was locked in and riveted for the first half at least

idek if i want to bother checking out more by this author

she was good
great at times

but meh

hence reluctantly

it’s like this author did the bare minimum for these characters just to get them into bed

what a disappointment

also i may or may not start a new shelf/tag “stalkers”

but bleh
this wouldnt be the first book but it was so obvious and ..honestly well done at times

reluctantly giving this a flat three stars

could’ve been slightly higher

but again
the copious boring sex scenes kept bonking me over the head

as if the story and plot couldn’t survive without it

which it clearly could’ve
given what lead up to it

but the finish and dismount was so fucking lacking

ugh
also i def had to check that annoying blurb to differentiate between the mmcs

it was such a waste

bc this could’ve been great if balanced out better

the sex was starting to stink
which made everything stink

and made me soon forget what all i actually enjoyed before it became the main theme

i could’ve given this four stars bc how much i was enjoying it
despite the cringe and smh and dumb shit
i was going to overlook it

but yeah
i hardly recall what was even good

slightly annoyed this was a such a short story

which meant the plot and relationships moved too quickly for my liking

the constant sex got old FAST

it def dragged the overall book down every time it came up
and it came up way too often

not even good sex
after the first one or two scenes
it got repetitive and i skimmed and skipped

i wouldnt even call it smut
bc 🥱

two hundred pages seemed short
or long depending how this would go

it didn’t start off amazing
the writing and dialogue and inner thoughts were cringe at times

but by the end of chapter one
i was hooked

on this bitches’ crazy

now i’m hoping this is a series
