I feel like the author just gave into the readers. Which was such a bad decision cause what they had was so genuine and sweet

It’s Reid sitting in a chair in the corner, legs stretched out casually in front of him. His eyes meet mine, but none of the emotions I expect to find are there. Just fiery, untamed desire. As if in agreement, the bond burns in my chest. No cause WHY was THIS scene neccesary? WTF?
