Today i read the last two chapters of my book. Chapter 4 was called Built from the Ground up which is about different animals "Home." So nests, burrows, all that. It was really interesting learning about different burrow designs from different animals. Chapter 5 was called Weird and Wonderful. It just talked about a handful abnormal animals. One that stuck out to me was the Screaming Hairy Armadillo The name is funny

So today i started chapter 4 called social networks. It talked about all different types of primates and how they all corporate a lot like us humans. One of my favorites is a monkey called the Titi monkeys which wrap their tails together to reinforce their bonds. It also talked about . pinnipeds (Seals, walruses, sea lions). and lastly a group of flamingos is called a flamboyant.

I started a new chapter called "Have you herd" yes herd as in a herd of animals. It talked mostly about herbivores but gives a good amount of comparisons to Carnivores. Some animals it talked about are things like Giraffes, antelopes, wild horses, cape buffalo, bison, musk oxen, Hippos, and elephants. It also talked about features of them like their hooves, antlers, horns, and eating patterns.

Basically just talks a about a whole bunch of different animals very briefly. Talks about Bears, Wolverines, Animals that east fish, the fisher cat, Little guys who mess up bigger guys, Tarantulas, Big fish, Eagle, owls, Crocodiles vs. Alligators, deadly lizards, and vultures.

A shorter little read because i wanted to stop before going into chapter 2. The last few pages talked briefly about evolutionary habits and adaptations, ( exp animals who live in urban areas, animals that carry their young in pouches, etc.) It also touched on invasive species such as the Feral Swine around the US, the Burmese Python in Florida and a few others.

So far i think this book is really interesting and has great installations. There were two things that stuck out to me tho. One was one page 22 where it was listing vertebrates it only gave snakes as an example instead of all reptiles which feels weird since they did the overall group for the others such as birds and amphibians. The other was on page 24 where there was a food web and it was confusing to follow.
