FFS! I hate it when authors turn smart female characters into stupid idiots to drive the plot. Spoilers: Riley is smart but acts like a dumbass and doesn’t tell her family about the scary dude in the bathroom nor does she show them the stack of cash because that would be the smart thing to do. FFS! This honestly makes me angry because I LOVED the last book. Also, why is Sloane suddenly such a B in this book?
