Does this ever get good or do I need to DNF this I love the movie but this is painfully dated and slow. Call me a hypocrite considering some of my last reads but this is the first one that expects you to side with a child rapist. I’m genuinely worried this might ruin my 2026 reading challenge and there’s SIX HOURS left
