I've finished it, but I have so much I want to say that I haven't gotten around to the review. Hopefully I don't over-process it in my mind to the point I lose interest in writing a review, we'll see! Lol! I was unfortunately disappointed.

I'm struggling with this in a way I didn't with IICHY. The psychological masterminding in this is so subpar as compared to IICHY. Grace's logic doesn't at all fit with her character backstory and overall profile, Father's psychological methods and gaslighting are all mixed up from how it would work in real life and that messes with me, especially since 700 pages of the book was spent trying to set it up!

Tbh I’m a little salty that we didn’t get to see the wedding after such a big deal was made out of it 😅
I didn't even realize they were married! It was like she was thinking about it one moment and then they were just already married the next! Considering how long the set-up was, the actual brainwashing part was so rushed!
