TSOD: CIRI!!!!!! omg i loved her she was soooo cute, just a little kid. i loved her and geralt's bickering and how fond she was of him. this is their first story together/first meeting and already they're such an adorable father and daughter omgggggg <3

ALS: okay this one actually made me cry at the end it was so sweet. sh'eenaz and agloval's love story was actually so sweet. essi was a wonderful character and i LOVED how dandelion thought of her as a little sister rather than another woman being another romantic interest, the bit at the end where she died four years later and dandelion carried her into the country to bury her made me cry genuine tears.

EF: i wish we got more of geralt and dandilion's banter in this one. i did like meeting new characters that come up in the games and learning the story behind them, it did get kinda confusing at the end though

ASOI: more insight into yennefer and geralt's relationship is interesting, they're literally destined for each other. also i'm dying at the mention of the stuffed unicorn oh god.

TBOR: a fight against a dragon who turns out to just be some regular guy whose protecting his daughter from people trying to hunt them both, what more could you ask for? i loved geralt and yennefer's banter in this, and dandelion was a delight in his own stupid, silly way. we also got wonderful dandelion/geralt/yennefer crumbs too which was very fun.

pre-read: SOD is the sequel of sorts to TLW, serving as another collection of stories set before the main series which provides more background into the actual lore and characters. hopefully we'll be properly introduced to and delve more into ciri.
