If you want to understand our justice system this is a great and really easy-to-follow book. The vignettes contained therein are endless fascinating in providing much procedural insight without getting bogged down.

Whilst the work undertaken by legal professionals is to be lauded the overwhelming picture is that our justice system, with its increasingly shabby facade, is cracking under decades of cuts.
