*Spoilers in comments* overall was a decent thriller, with some plot twist at the end. There were a lot of aspects of the plot line that did not make sense, or felt like unnecessary complications. The short length was amazing. Overall may recommend.

Basically throughout the whole book suspense is built that Chloe is a psychopath and she’s trying to harm Joanne and Evie. At the very end, the plot twist to where Richard is thought to be responsible for killing his wife and trying to kill his daughter in the same way that his other daughter passed away. Chloe ends up, killing her father at the very end after suspenseful moments in the house. At the very, very end, though Joanne Evie and Chloe visit Chloe’s grandmother. Chloe’s grandmother basically says that Chloe is a psychopath, and that she was responsible for killing her mother and sister and father. The grandmother also tells Joanne that Evie should not live with her for her safety. The end was kind of a cliffhanger as to what’s the top next.
