the first beauty and the beast story didn’t do much for me but “the tiger’s bride” whips absolute ass. awesome story for people who saw the beast change back in the disney version and thought “…did he have to :/”

There is a painting called the english bed by guillermo lorca, which could potentially have a more sinister intended meaning, but for me it will always evoke "the tiger's bride" (even though it does not picture a tiger)
