Okay… so we’ve left the backstory building part of this book and have officially entered part 2 of the book… aka now we get to discuss the author of the sacred book of the story…. Which just coincidentally shares the same name to this one. Idk the author Julian so far is enticing me more into this book. But I’m still not loving it. Also like to get this far and it still be kind of meh. All the reviews lied

I’m realizing this is not really the book for me. I don’t hate it by any means and it was interesting in the middle. But it’s starting to fall flat one again. And it’s making it really hard to want to pick this up to finish 🥲

Took me nearly 7 hours of listening to the audiobook(of 18 hours) to actually get interested in it. Not exactly sure what that says about it. But I’m starting to enjoy it.
