There were a lot of mixed reviews on this book. A lot of people said it was boring or slow but I actually appreciate the pace because although it’s not exactly a page turner, she’s giving you details you’ll need to understand what’s taking place as the story progresses. I still like it. Slow or not. I’ll probably finish this today.

Less than 100 pages into Daisy Darker and Alice Feeney is already putting on a masterclass. The way she's threading psychological tension, family trauma, and decades of secrets into the very fabric of this story has me completely hooked.
