"It's an opportunity to do my job better!" I'm sorry, aren't you just an artist fr? I understand her interest in getting to the bottom of why her family might be involved but there's truly nothing tying her to this plot other than her wanting to be there. Three spies, an attempted kidnapping, and a ring does not a caricaturist make. I appreciate her commitment to the bit though. Idk what James is doing. Pining?

I couldn't really get into it at first but the introduction of Stephan definitely saved the plot for me in the early pages. There's still some parts that I feel bored and like the mystery plot could be done better but I like Calliope and her entourage. James doesn't do much but I don't dislike him. Fingers crossed the pair can keep me entertained in Stephan's absence.
