finally finished “book 1” (of the original two book split)!
took me forever… this is the longest book i’ve ever read in korean.
things are picking up now though!
jahyun is incredibly unlikeable but it takes talent to create such a disgusting character.
soru… can we PLEASE stop infantilizing her.
TLDR: good writer, interesting korean folklore + dark fantasy worldbuilding, TERRIBLE main characters

oops accidentally spoiled myself by looking up the webtoon... turns out i've tried reading the webtoon before but DNF'd it, no wonder the story felt oddly familiar
the big plot twist might not be as impactful anymore BUT i've been hating the husband so far (pedo vibes + anger issues = yuck) so i'm happy with the direction the story will take
