I’ve never forced myself to finish a book the way I have with this. The dialogue between characters is so unrealistic and cringey. What detective calls a victim “good girl”? WHAT is that awful dialogue between Taylor and Baldwin? It’s forced and unnatural making this 10x harder to get through.
