I’m very pleasantly surprised by how much I’m enjoying this book— both in terms of writing style and plot. It’s humorous and eloquent without coming across as pretentious.

Distasteful mention of a miscarriage (like why), but otherwise still good. I’m super interested to see where this goes.
Also, it’s a fantasy. No idea why I thought otherwise? Good news for me either way.

It’s as funny as I’d hoped it would be which definitely makes up for it not being a fantasy.
