Great so now we discover that Lexi us just as bad as Kade. She has also killed men too for reasons.
We now learn that apparently Kade is in the mob the undergoes or sone shit.
She knows them, knows who the crime family is he watched her kill someone else in the family. Now he wants to take over the organisation.

She thinks she looks like a hideous beast. He thinks she is gorgeous.
She finds her phone whilst he is gone, turns it on, it has juice but she calls her boyfriend and leave a voicemail. Not 911 to track her but her bf who broke up with her. Kill me now from vad writing.

What us with women assuming they can't get pregnant because it hadn't happened previously with another lover so of course this random man can't get her knocked up now. The man gave her some plan b, but no she knows better.

So she let him fuck her because she got spooked about the other women trophies he held in the room he took her in. A whole thing there, but Kade POV for this is so strange. Her body reaction being more than he could hope for, a dark sense of pride as she came, no one could have done what he did like what now.

Then her POV reasoning yeah its all okay if she wants him.

When you hear the word negligence, or skimpy lingerie does that image also evoke the same one as nighty?

How can an author in one scene imagine silk negligee alongside image of nighty. I kept seeing red barely there then cotton nightgown.

Also I hate these characters.
