Ummm hell nah lmao. Stepford wives on steroids. There is SO MUCH to unpack in just the first half of this book!!!! The intersectional oppression (racially, between genders, and socioeconomically), the allegorical (and twisted!!) depictions of burdened Black women + segregation, the medical trauma 👀
