From Foucault, to Chompsky, to Schmitt, to Nazis, to Dawkins, to Trump. This is a meandering chapter and I don't think there was a point. Her ending thought of Trump somehow being an exmple of what the species should be. This book is only 3 years old. There are plenty of examples and reasons why that's not true. You don't need to reference a pop science book from before I was born.

Her lack of defining woke earlier is still leading to confusion. She also does not fully explain some of her bigger claims. BLM was universalist (did they stop?), the left became tribalist. I wonder if she considers democrates left. These are some big claims either way. She is still jumping all over the place. Some points of agreement then a big, conservative claim with little evidence or explanation. It's weird

This book is confusing. At times Neiman is literal to the point of being dense. At others, she makes some statements that seem rather woke. While others she gets sclose to stumbling on the idea of intersectionality. I am still unsure of what her point is in this book.

I don't like the definition provided. Rather one dimensional start. Already have a few positions that I just heard about that are apparently common. Bad start
