I can sleep better knowing that the idea of not ending a sentence with a preposition came from a guy in the 1800s who liked to translate his writings into Latin and back again and decided English would look better without prepositions at the end of sentences. But trying to force English into a Latin box doesn't work since English is a bastard language created from multiple language sources that don't have this rule.
