I realize there is some huge backstory here, with vendettas, sort of like blood oaths between these two men (or families)

kind of like, 'what I'm I getting myself into'

Then the guys who owned the land behind me?

They knew I was coming in and trying to figure out a way to approach me, because they needed to run cattle and that land was the only way for them to get to such and such road, to get the cattle moving forward, north

The other guys surrounding them wouldn't let them run their cattle on their land

So I go over to their side, to talk to them

so they're getting played and/or in abusive relationships

he talked about church girls

how they're not being prepared for dating

only marriage

With my old church's purity program, *a lot* of those kids paired up while in the youth group and married, are still together

in those kinds of high control settings, it can work
