It is... a bit unsettling, the pacing. It feels like everything has escalated so quickly in the past chapter, compared to the deceiving lull of the chapters before that.

...Not gonna lie, I'm not completely enjoying this anymore, but I will finish this series purely because I am still intrigued at the concept. ...Not because I want more Sasha and Aloysha and Morozko page time, certainly not.

...Okay, yup, Konstantin really makes me sick.

Needed to mention this somewhere before I forget to do so: absolutely love Alyosha, too. He and Sasya are the only two of Vasya's siblings I like (the rest are heavily debatable). I have no more sympathy to possess for Anna, and Pyotr is getting on my nerves. Dunya... she's fine, for the most part. And then Konstantin creeps the absolute hell out of me. And good riddance to Kyril.

...why do I have this nagging feeling that Konstantin is in love with Vasya? idk what exactly, but something about his interactions with her unsettle me greatly.

Also boo, have yet to see Sasya return.

Okay yes yes yes, it was a slow start, but now I am so hooked onto this book and its writing. Honestly one of the best feelings in the world.

fINALLY the plot is actually plotting! I swear it felt like more had happened in the last chapter than in the 10 chapters right before that.

...Hopefully it picks up from here, now.

Why do I have this feeling that Sasha will 1) be a very important character for the story, and 2) land up being my favourite?

Also am betting the man with the mare that Vasilisa met in the woods is the frost demon guy.
